IN THE FUTURE, when Artificial Intelligence does our homework for us, and the Eagles are back-to-back-to-back-to-back Super Bowl champions, new technologies will rule the day. Solar. Smart Homes. Batteries. The Future!
Solar States is Philadelphia’s B-Corp solar installer. We’ve been building our solar and battery installation company for 15 years in Olde Kensington. We’re directly across from the new Clay Studio buildings, and beside the Crane Arts building (which is where our first office was and one of our first solar installations…)
We’re hosting a (*checks Tech dictionary*) “nimble”, “agile” get-together at the office to show off the coolest in solar technology, and share a bit about where we see it all going and what that means for you. We install on homes, businesses, churches, buses – little bit of it all, and we come across LOTS of cool new tech. Amazing how fast it’s all changed since we began!
We’re also not robots, so we’ll have food and drinks (very light – if this were a Yelp $$$ rating, it would be $). BUT, one of our staff members, Marilyn, is co-founder of Vicio Mezcal, the hottest Mezcal on the market! She’ll have some there for you to try and try again.
We’re going to invite our customers and the community we’ve built over 15 years here. ~90% of our workforce lives in Philly. This is home. Come meet some cool people, drink some Mezcal, and learn about solar.
